What is Renault Clio precode calculator?

Renault Clio car radio removal:
Place the radio removal keys in the two holes on each side of the Cli stereo. These holes are stacked on top of each other, and the U-shaped key should have one post of each side of the U going into a hole, forming a handle.Place one hand on each key and pull them apart toward the doors then release the stereo. Pull the stereo out of the dash entirely, and note your PreCode.

What do I do if the display now says ERROR!!
How to entry code if it just shows CODE.
If it just shows CODE then turn it on for 2 to 3 hours until the display shows " 0000 " with the 1st digit flashing.

I had the supplied Renault Code in triplicate, inside page of log book etc, etc, etc, and after a battery disconnection keying in that code did not work. Your method worked beautifully!

I am using year 2000 Clio and had the same prob with my stereo. I tried entering code using your software. but it displays "code".
This is last 4 numbers in the s-number : R449
and the code came from software is 8516.

Please note that code entry is only possible when "0000" is shown in the display. If the unit is codelocked it will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible. If it does not reset after this time, then all of your code entry attempts may have been used up.
